About 3 weeks ago, I took Plan B Onestep because I was afraid of a possible condom slip and the regular birth control pill that I was on I was afraid would be ineffective because I was on antibiotics during my previous cycle. I probably did not need the Plan B but I just wanted to be safe. Last Wednesday, I experienced bleeding and it lasted until this morning, but it was lighter than my withdrawal bleed and arrived two days earlier than usual. I am just worried that this bleeding was implantation bleeding. I already read the listed post, but I just wanted to hear from someone too. The color of the blood was a dark brown/dark red.

It sounds like a period; they can vary sometimes in timing and intensity (lighter or heavier); especially after taking Plan B. Have you taken a pregnancy test yet? It has been more than long enough that you should be able to trust the results; just follow the instructions.

I did take a pregnancy test today and it came back negative. Today is 3 days after my due date of my period. Does this mean that the results are accurate? I took a First Response test.

Yes, you should trust it. It sounds like you have had your period and (if you haven't had any other risks) it has be more than enough time too. [Smile]
