Two days ago I got my period, which was strange since I'm on the pill and not due to get it for another 5-6 days. It started out spotting, then progressed to a flow where I needed a pad/tampon, and then abruptly stopped today. I'm really worried about this. Part of me thinks that this is because I moved into a dorm with two other girls who were also both on their periods (cycling?), but the other part of me is worried that it's pregnancy related. I haven't had sex in months, and I haven't even seen my boyfriend in like 10 days, so it sounds unlikely, but there's a really unreasonable part of me that worries about getting pregnant after having oral sex with my boyfriend (going to the bathroom touching near my vagina after I washed my hands) or from sitting on public toilets.
WHy would my period start so early and then stop like that!

Honestly, there's no pregnancy risk from what you've described with the oral sex, touching after washing hands, and definitely not from sitting on toilet seats (Whoee... the number of people that would be suddenly pregnant if the last were possible would be shocking). Sometimes bleeds are off a bit, even when on the pill with new routines. Moving into the dorms, changing eating habits likely, maybe even exercise or sleeping habits can all do this. No reason to worry, it's perfectly normal.
