So yesterday I noticed that around my vagina and inside felt really really sore and itchy, and I was having really thick, chunky discharge. Whenever I walked it really hurt because I could feel it rubbing against my panties. I think I might have a yeast infection (I looked online). Is this something to be concerned about? Is it pretty common? How can it be treated?

Yeast infections are pretty common, and if you get them treated right away, they're also not a big deal at all. What you'll want to do is simply make an appointment with your gynecologist, so they can confirm the diagnosis and prescribe the medication to treat it.
