I just switched my birth control pill the other week. I had been actively on Loestrin but it caused a few problems so I switched to a different brand, I finished my loestrin and started the new pack the following sunday of my period, am I still protected? Or should I be extra careful for the next month? As if I was a new user all over again?

No need. So long as you didn't take any more than the 7-day placebo break of a current pill, if and when you start a different brand as if it were a new pack of the same pill, you're all good. [Smile]
