I stopped taking birth control about a month ago (but I plan to go back on it sometime within a month or so from now) However, my boyfriend and I had intercourse last night without using a condom, but he pulled out way before he ejaculated. My question is, how long should I wait to go get a pregnancy test? Since I got off birth control, my body is out of wack, and I really have no idea when my period will be coming. Some tests can be pretty accurate a day after your period is due, but since I don't know when mine is coming, i'm not really sure when to take it in order for it to be accurate?

Are you comfortable using withdrawal alone as a method of birth control? I ask because if you're not, since this was only last night, you could use emergency contraception if you liked.
If you don't want to do that, but want to see if you are pregnant after this, you'd want to wait until it's been around 2 weeks after the risk, since you don't know when to epect your period.

I'm really not confortable using the withdrawel method alone.. however I don't have a job right now so I can't afford to pay for EC. But I do plan on going back on birth control once I can afford my pills. It's been over a month since I haven't gotten my period. We've had sex since getting off the pills, but were very careful about it everytime, using condoms. So should I still wait two weeks to take a test?

If you want EC, but finances are an issue, know that your local Planned Parenthood offers EC and other contraception on a sliding scale. So, both for EC and if you want to go back on the pill, you can call in and find out about that.
If you want to know if the sex from LAST night resulted in pregnancy specifically, a test now won't tell you that. You'd have to wait at least two weeks.
