I started taking birth contol around 4 months ago. The information on the box says to not allow heat over 30 degrees C. After figuring it out thats around 86 degrees F but about a week ago I left the pills in my car and I live in the desert and the tempertatures outside right now are in the 110+ degrees and the cars even hotter. Will this mess up my pills working sense they got too hot? My boyfriend and I were messing around today. There was no actual penitration but there was contact I'm sure.

As long as you are not storing your pills there regularly, it should be fine. Exposure to high temperatures for long periods would not be good, but if we're talking about a short time it should be okay.

I think it should be fine if it was only 2 hours. If you're still concerned, call the pharmacy where you got your prescription filled and ask them. They'll be able to pull a pharmaceutical reference and give you a "for sure" answer.

Well that's good then! You probably would have been okay, but certainly better safe than sorry, right? I'm glad you called and got an answer you're comfortable with. [Smile]
