My boyfriend and I have been having sex for over a year now, and we're both very happy with our relationship, sexually and otherwise. The last time we had sex, I felt ready like normal, but during sex I really only felt like I had to pee. I had gone to the bathroom before we started, so I know I didn't really have to go. This was so weird--any ideas why?

That's an idea, but it was just missionary, which we've done lots before. Any other reasons it might feel that way?

Even if the general position was the same, it's possible that even a slight difference in angle (by either of you) or positioning could make a difference. Maybe your pelvis was tilted just a little bit differently, etc.
If you notice it happening again and shifting position slightly doesn't help, then you might go ahead and see your health care provider. Since you aren't having problems at other times, I'd doubt it would be anything serious...but it never hurts to check and make sure you aren't noticing the start of a bladder infection or something like that.
