Since last Monday, my discharge has had traces of blood in it. For the first few days, it varied between brown, red and pink (and it never lasted the whole day). It's an on-off thing too; although I noticed today that there was more red blood in my discharge.
The last time I had sex was last Tuesday, but even then that was only oral and manual sex, and I highly doubt there was any risk. The last time I had a real risk that made me paranoid was the Tuesday before that (which I made a thread about, and I've been convinced since that there was no real risk there either).
I've gone through some of the previous threads that might pertain to my situation, but most of them mentioned BC. I'm not on BC. However, your responses to previous threads also mentioned that implantation bleeding is reasonably rare and lasts for a day or so. Maybe I'm just imagining pregnancy symptoms, but last week I had a pretty queasy stomach. It may just be because I was sick the week before, however.
I've had my period for 7 or 8 years now, and I've noticed that this early blood in discharge thing has only happened since I started getting intimate with my boyfriend, ie. Feb this year.
Logically, I know I can't be pregnant and in theory, my period is next week, so needless to say, this early appearance of blood is puzzling.
Any ideas?

UPDATE: For the last two days, there's been a lot more brown blood, however, when I wipe, there's always some trace of it.

When you had the manual sex, was your boyfriend using lube? wearing gloves or, if not, sure his fingernails were short, not sharp anywhere, no hangnails, etc?
I ask because abrasions with manual sex are pretty common, especially if it involves vaginal entry, and particularly if there wasn't enough lubrication. That can cause some spotting or bleeding for a bit.

Even though we weren't using lube or gloves, I'm sure his fingernails were short.
Even then, last time he caused some abrasions, I bled bright red blood in larger quantities, but only for about a day. This bleeding continuing for almost two weeks now doesn't seem to be caused by a similar situation.

Well... I took a pregnancy test and that was negative. I'd still like to know what some of the reasons for the bleeding was though.

Lack of lube is probably the culprit. The combination of dry hands and sensitive vaginal tissue tends to be unpleasant. Try the gloves and lube next time and see if things improve.
