Sometimes while having sex, depending on the posistion. I've noticed that i will hit the back wall of my girlfriends vagina, which i believe would be the cervix . We are both wondering if this is okay, or could it possibly damage anything with her?

This is okay, as long as it's not hurting her (some women find it painful, some don't). If it hurts, she needs to speak up and you need to stop. You're not going to do any damage to the cervix, otherwise. The cervix is very vascular though, so she may experience some spotting if it's bumped around a lot.
Are you having lots of foreplay before intercourse? Is your girlfriend fully aroused before this point? When a woman is aroused, the cervix pulls up higher in the vagina and is less likely to get bumped around, making intercourse more enjoyable for many women.
