I had a mild case of appendicitis on Tuesday for which I was admitted to hospital. However, as it was mild the doctors decided to control it with Anti Biotics rather than surgery but nevertheless didn't rule out the possibility of it reoccuring (but they also said that it might not even reoccur). I was discharged yesterday and I was wondering if its bad to have sex? Will it interfere with my medicine or my appendicitis?
Thanks alot.

This is really a question best posed to your doctor.

But generally, it's a good idea to take it easy after a serious illness, so if you were going to have any sort of sex, the more mellow, the better.

And just as a practical point, if you're on the birth control pill, antibiotics may interfere with its effectiveness. So it's extra important to use a back-up method like condoms.
