On the 24th 24th August my gf's period eneded we did have unprotected sex a few days later and the Morning After Pill was purchased and she took it straight away. She woke up this morning now having a full on period. Because she took the Morning After Pill would it be safe to assume it is because she took the pill?

Yup, emergency contraception can cause someone's next period to arrive early (or late) - it's a big dose of hormones so it can temporarily throw things out of whack.

Good for both of you for doing the smart thing and getting EC, by the way.
