So I was bopping about on the internet earlier today, and I came across this article:

My first reaction, after I had read it, was "what the &*%#?!?" The whole spiel on how males "need" to masturbate kind of made me doubt the article's authenticity, and I was wondering if it had any credibility.

I looked up TMS on Wikipedia (which I know is not always a completely reliable source, but regardless) and, from what I gathered from the article, it looks like the scientist who coined the term's study group consisted of only four people... Personally, the whole thing sounds a little iffy to me, but I could be wrong.

You are right. There is plenty of dubious info on the Internet, and any quack with a labcoat can make a pretty scary and convincing website to sell stuff.

Fear not, the 2% of people who don't masturbate are not in any imminent danger of spontaneous human comsution or anything else. There are just a lot of charlatans trying to bilk an honest Joe out of his money.
