Hi,

I forgot to change my patch yesterday. First time it happens. I'll change it as soon as I get home in about 2 hours.

Will my patch change day be on Tuesdays instead of Mondays now?

and is the protection offered by the patch lessened because I forgot to change it? (I've been on the patch since March, if I remember correctly)

Thanks in advance!

P.S I'm on Ortho Evra if that makes any difference

Nope, your patch change day will still be Monday. It wouldn't hurt to use back up, but the patch is compromised if it's not in contact with the skin for so many hours, or if you just fail to put a new one on after removing the old one.
