How often is Depo Provera used on young women, peticularly around 15? I know the pill is the most common, but I'm just bad with remembering to take medication, and I have my first "appointment" in three days, so should I ask my doctor about it?

Go ahead and ask about it. You can discuss with your healthcare provider what method of birth control will work best for you. Remember to pair up any hormonal birth control with condoms to prevent STI/STD transmission.
