so it would not do any good if she takes the test right now and we would have to wait until august 8th. thats 14 days after the last time there was intercourse. she is supposed to get her period somewhere in the middle of the first week of august if she does get it should we still have something to worrie about.

She could take it 14 days after 1st unprotected intercourse but if she concieved on the 2nd or 3rd time, the pregnancy hormone (which the test is seeking) might not show until 14 days after the 3rd intercourse. I was just trying to save some redundant testing. You could test 14 days after each intercourse should you so chose. However since you must test 14 days after the 3rd intercourse, that would cover all 3 events.

Periods and pregnancy are mutually exclusive. A woman with a period is not pregnant. A woman who is pregnant cannot have a period.

However, what is known as "implantation bleeding" can occur as the fetus is attaching itself to the wall of the uterus. This bleeding is sometimes confused with a period. Therefore, Scarleteen recommends a pregnancy test, either a home one or one conducted at a clinic or doctor's office as the only valid indicator of pregnancy.

Your only other real option is to wait 9 months and see if she gives birth.
