the first question is how can you tell if you have leakage from a condom. second of all what is the risk if my girlfriend is on the pill and there is a little bit of leakage.

If you use the condom properly, you'll drastically decrease the chance of leakage/breakage. If the condom leaks, you'll notice. Condoms are made of strong stuff--try playing around with one, it should take a lot of effort to break it.

Furthermore, please note that the failure rate of fifteen percent for male condoms includes incorrect usage of condoms. If you use them properly, there's a very low risk of breakage or leakage.
