Hi, I'm just curious about something- and this has been on my mind, and it's bugging me. It's stupid, but it would let me relax if you helped... About a month ago, me, my friend, and her brother were just swimmin around in the pool and my friend's bro was just like, always close to me, anyways....
I was wondering- what are the odds of his sperm finding their way through the water, through my bathing suit, and into my vagina, and into my egg, and me getting pregnant? I know this is a stupid question, but I am just torturing myself with it...

Believe it or not, we get this question a lot.
The answer: pretty darn unlikely.
To quote our lovely Miz Scarlet:
quote:Overall, the golden rule is this: you have a very high liklihood of getting pregnant if sperm comes into direct contact (meaning it doesn't go anywhere in between, like down the block to get a soda) with your vagina without a birth control method.
You can also get pregnant if sperm comes into contact with your general genital area directly.
It's possible, but not *as* likely, to get pregnant if you roll around in sperm on the sheets or what have you with your genitals, or have sperm on your fingers and masturbate.
It's highly unlikely to get pregnant in any other way than the above.
