There was this documentary on the Discovery Channel a few nights (or mornings; it was around 3 in the morning) ago. It was called Is it a Boy or is it a girl? It on intersex persons, and it was pretty interesting. One woman (she identifies that way) wasn't told until she was in her thirties (I was really half asleep, so if the numbers aren't correct, sorry). It got me thinking. I mean I'm pretty sure I'm not, but what if my parents just didn't tell me something? I can hardly identify as any sex. It bothers me if I start to feel feminine in any way. I don't care to feel too masculine either. I just don't know. Did you see the docu.? What do you think?

You might be interested in the article at http://www.scarleteen.com/politics/gender.html which is about being intersex.

Just to clarify, there are plenty of people who aren't biologically intersex and who don't identify with any particular gender. And there are plenty of intersex people who do identify strongly with a particular gender.

Whether you feel male, female, masculine, feminine, both, neither, or something else entirely is not determined by what's going on with your anatomy, hormones, or chromosomes.
