The segment of my Pinky finger on my right hand between the knuckle and the first joint (from my hand) has a strange pain in it and has for weeks now. I can move it, but any sort of stress hurts it a lot - I have to hold my binders in my left hand now, for example.

I don't know how I injured it, unless I banged it against the wall or something...

I can still move it, so it is likely not broken.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

You guys have to remember that we're not dentists or ER physicians. This isn't our arena, and even if it was, it's not something that online help can really address. [Smile]

If you have severe pain in your hand, or cannot move it properly, see a doctor.
