I am very intrigued by tomatoes. They're mostly classified as a vegetable, but I've heard several people say they're fruits. What are they?
What IS the difference between a fruit and a vegetable anyway?

But corn has "seeds" (the kernals, or however you spell them), and they're not fruits And correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I've seen seeds in eggplants and zuchinnis.
Weeeird...so strawberries are not technically fruits and bean pods are?! -brain fizzles-.

Strawberries have seeds on the outside.. so yes they're fruit.
So are zuchinni, squash, eggplant, cucumber, pepper, yada yada!
Veggies are stuff like lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, potatoes, onions, carrots, radishes, etc. All stuff that 'goes to seed'!

In science last year my teacher gave us a pop group quiz on fruits and veggies. She gave us a bunch of different fruits and vegetables and we had to classify them as one or the other. My table group was the only one that got %100. :D But yeah, fruits have seeds and veggies don't. So tomatoes are fruits, even though most people call them vegetables. Though I call them fugitables. I see them as a little bit of both. :)
