So I keep getting these pounding headaches at school lately. I used to think it was because I don't get nearly enough on school nights. But it happens on the weekends, too. And I don't know if it's from being on the computer so much (I'm in the computer lab at least three periods a day right now since it's the end of the school year) and it's affecting my eyes. I've heard it said before but does anyone know if it's true that this could be a sign that I need glasses?

Yes, if you need glasses, this can sometimes show through headaches. But there are also a million other causes for headaches, so it's probably best you talk to a doctor before you do anything else. When I had these awful headaches a few years ago, it turned out that it was a side-effect of some medication I was on.

Yeah I'm not planning on just running and buying glasses or something, lol. I am going to ask my doctor whenever I go next but I'm just wondering. So I guess my question was kinda pointless... :-/ sorry.

It could be glasses in you haven't seen an eye specialist. And also, you should take a five minutes break and look around sometimes, take a break not spend a lot of time in front of the computer. And if you're myop then you're not supposed to wear your glasses while working in the computer and you're close to it. If you don't see anything just get away from the computer at maybe an arm lenght at least. And you souldn't go on a computer with no lights on. I 'd say go see an eye specialist. But I could be wrong it could also be due to a lot of other diseases, like hypoglycemia wich cause you to have headaches but normally you notice it because your headaches goes away when you eat.
