Since I got married, (september) I have skipped my placebos every two months. Per say, I skipped Sep, Oct, and took placebos in Nov to get my period. I am taking Yazmin. I just dont like to get a period so often because I get painful periods and long ones too. My doctor said it was ok to skip placebos and continue with the new packs. Do you guys think that sounds good? Is there something wrong with that? I would take Seasonale but, I was already used to Yazmin and got no side effects and my doctor recommended to just stay with Yazmin and skip placebos.

As long as you've cleared it with your doctor, there really shouldn't be any problem. They're the ones who are going to be a better judge, per your personal medical history, if it's a good idea for you or not. So, since you have, there's no reason really I'd think you should worry.
