Actually, some Trojans generally have had the lowest durability ratings for some time, though they appear to have gotten better of late.Looking back through many years of consumer testing, Durex condoms tend to be the most consistent per lack of breakage of any of the major brands.
But understand that with condoms, how you use them is the big diff: pretty much ANY condom, so long as:
- it is ALWAYS used with extra latex-safe lubricant
- it is ALWAYS put on with enough room left in the tip, and rolled down to the base of the penis
- it is ALWAYS kept in a cool, dark place, and used well before the expiry date, and
- it is always removed after ejaculation, with a new one put on if more play is to continue...
...will not break, rip or tear. If slipping off is an issue, that's generally just a matter of buying a snugger-fitting condom.
Usually when condoms break or slpit, they weren't used right. When we have users report breakage here at ST, nearly every time we ask if extra lubricant was used with them, the answer is no.
