Ummm....I didn't think I was that new at this, but what the heck is a dental dam? This is my first post here, after reading the msgs for a while, and I have wondered.... Thanx in advance

A dental dam is a peice of latex that is used while giving a female SAFE oral sex. It is used to protect against diseases.

You could also use a cut up condom or use some plastic crap.

Can't you use dental dams on guys too. I'm not sure if this is a the right way to say this but, shouldn't they be used when preforming a 'rim job'?

Good and often neglected point there, Buff. Oral/anal sex, even in fluid-bonded relationships, should ALWAYS involve plastic wrap or dental dams. Even in a person who's completely free of all STI's there are a lot of nasty bacteria in that area.

I wish someone other then me can tell my friend that. He doesn't seem to listen to me when I'm giving him safe sex advice.
