so me and my boyfriend just finished having sex and i noticed that my vagina (inner lips and clitoris) are swollen... what could this mean? STD? it doesn't hurt, just uncomfortable...

Did you have vaginal intercourse? If so, the friction can cause things to swell and be a little irritated. Did you use lubricant? A condom? Can you tell if it is red or not?

This is not a common symptom of STIs (sexually transmitted infections) and seems to have shown up at a very specific time.

Sine it is important in general though: have you been tested for STIs? Do you use protection, such as condoms?

yes i had vaginal intercouse, we didnt use anything and it is a little red....
and ive just been tested fot STIs and they came back negative. i havent been with anyone but my bf for three months

If the swelling doesn't settle down in a few days, you could see a doctor, but it's nothing to worry about.

What do you think about using lubricant when you have sex? It would cut down on the friction that can cause this kind of irritation.
