i am a 19 year old male and ive noticed that i get erections alot even when im not thinking about sex for example if im in the car i could get an erection and it takes ages to go down and im noit even thinking about anything sexy or arousing is this normal [Confused]

Sure it's normal. Men get random erections all the time, especially in adolescence and sometimes early twenties. Don't worry about it. In fact, my boyfriend gets them at the worst times sometimes. During a meeting once. Just a bloke thing.

My boyfriend gets them everytime he sees me. It's kinda funny actually . . . but yes, definitely normal. [Big Grin]

having an erection doesn't necessarily mean you're aroused. it's totally normal and common to get them while sleeping or sitting in class - for absolutely no reason. If you just don't think about it, it'll go away on it's own. All guys deal with this.
