Hi. I'm a nineteen-year-old woman, and I had some sorta weird skin things going on tonight. A spot on my thigh got really itchy, red, and hot to the touch, and it had a large area of raised skin--kind of like hives, maybe? It lessened within 10-15 minutes, but it's sort of happening in other places on my legs (not just my thigh, but my calves and ankles too) It's a little less than a week before my period; could it be a PMS symptom? I've never had this during PMS, but lately my PMS symptoms have been different every month. Thanks!

I think that would be unusual as a sign of PMS. People can get hives and other rashes for many reasons so if it gets worse or you feel unwell in any other ways, best to consult your doctor.

It was totally gone within an hour or so, and I had no other symptoms, so I think I was probably just overreacting...my skin is very white so it can look irritated very easily.
