I may soon be having a girlfriend in the near future and she has told me that she is allergic to latex. When and if we ever did decide to have sex, she would be on birth control for sure, but as I've also learned, it's not 100% effective as well as condoms. I do want to know if there are other types of condoms out there as well? We definately are not ready for kids, yet we want to experiment in the sexual area.

Hey thanks for getting back to me that quick. That really helped. Thanks. Now I've been told that non latex condoms can cost more money. Is this true and if so, how much?

That is true to some extent; I don't know right off the top of my head but it is not a terrible amount more. You can check prices online or wherever you go to buy condoms. It's still less than the cost of going to the doctor to treat an allergic reaction!

I did a quick price comparison online, and the price difference seems to be negligible. Going to a few online stores, I compared the price of a regular brand of condom with their polyurethane counterpart. In some stores, they were the same price, and in others, the polyurethanes were from 10 cents to a dollar more expensive for a pack.
