My boyfriend fingered me, hands clean, of course. But then I stopped to give him a handjob. On one of the articles on the site, I read that you should use latex gloves and lubricant. We didn't.. Do you absolutely have to? - or can you do both without, but make sure that both of our hands are completely clean and whatnot?

You really should take safety precautions. We wouldn't recommend it if there wasn't a good reason.
Bare hands can chafe. Nails are sharp. Latex and lube can fix that. Hands can be dirty. Washing helps. But hey, if you get semen on your hands, would you rather worry about washing it all off? or would you rather peel off a glove and toss it in the trash?
