Couple questions first:

- are you guys having protected or unprotected sex in terms of condoms and latex barriers for intercourse AND other activities?
- are the symptoms absolutely identical? When you took the medication for the last one, did the symptoms seem to totally go away, or only decrease?
- when you went into your doc for that one, did you also get a full STI screening, too?

(and regardless of your answer to those questions, absolutely DO NOT have sex until it's cleared up. Even if you have protected sex, you'll probably just irritate the infection further.)

(To add to ladydexter's warning -- many of the over-the-counter treatments out there are not exactly condom-safe to begin with, so your protected sex may not stay that way for long if you're still being treated.)

the symptoms are the exact same. and the medication helped it totally. it was gone within 4 days.

and i have anoter question to add.
why would i be getting yeastinfections all of a sudden. the only thing that is different is that i'm having sex.

If you're having unprotected sex and your partner has not been checked, it's possible you're passing the same infection back and forth.

eat yogurt with acidopholus(probly spelled wrong) cultures, just find a yogurt that says "with live cultures"
it helps kill the yeast
I geuss you can put that in a tampon applicator and stick it inside to ease the itching and irritation too
I had some yeast infection problems recently

Just a note: if you decide to use yogurt as a topical relief for yeast infections, be sure to use PLAIN yogurt. Sweetened yogurt or yogurt with fruits will have sugars that will just feed the yeast.

A peeled garlic clove, or a tincture called gentian violet are also known to help with yeast infections.
