Lately I've lost a little weight and as of 3 hours ago I noticed these little dry spots on my skin. There's one above my waist on my side and two under my left breast. It's like i stopped moisturizing or something, is this because of the weight loss or have I just neglected to moisturize or i've been using the wrong soap?

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with losing weight. Dry patches of skin aren't that uncommon (they actually appear a lot more in the winter due to the naturally drier conditions, windburn or frostbite, etc) Hormones also contribute to the oil production in skin.

So, I wouldn't worry too much. Continue with your normal moisturizer routine, and just put lotion on those areas a little more often if they bother you or are itchy, etc. (If you haven't had any problem with dry skin with the soap you are using before, I don't think it's that either)
