I am 21 and just started taking oral birth control "the pill" I am not sexually active i am still a virgin and i just have a question. For the record i did go to my doctor and had a full examination(internal included*that hurt like heck*) and we picked the right kind for me. i am just taking the pill to get used to it for when i DO need it..and in case anything were to happen i am covered.
My question is my birthcontrol came only in its little box. i was wondering who i could obtain one of those discrete little pouches that you put it at first glance someone doesnt assume what it is. My parents give me alot of flack for having souly male friends.and i really like to avoid them knowing i am on the pill cause im sure they will assume im doing more then i am. Any suggestions?! Thanks!

Instead of avoiding it, why don't you sit them down and talk? Chances are, if you actually tell them that you're taking the pills, and explain why, they will be much more relaxed and understanding than if they found them.

(By the way, if you're 21, you're probably old enough to take care of most things yourself. Is there a reason you feel you need to try and hide this from your parents? While I totally support talking the parental units, you're an adult by legal standards, and should be able to talk like an adult to your parents about this, and stand by your decision no matter how they react, so don't be afraid to approach them )

Edit: Forgot to add that any small makeup case will do. There are plenty of small zip cases out there, and many are rather attractive, too.

My parents are wonderful caring people. they have done great by my family. but....

i cant remeber a day where one of them hasnt commented on my weight(5'1 153 pounds) or made cracks about my face.

secondly, my mother doesnt like that i hang out with just guys.. especially seen as most my guy friends have gf's. she doesnt see it as right and i hear about it constantly ever sencse i was 15-16 and she realized i wasnt branching out to having GIRL best friends. my dads joking nic name for me is Home Wreaker even though ive done little to nothing with a guy never had a bf(which is a butt of alot of jokes in this household-) id just prefer to save m'self the grief and keep it from them for as long as possible.. and thank you for the suggestion about the little makeupcase
