my best friend recently has had her period, and had a question about masturbation (she doesn't have internet at her place):
is it possible to split the hymen when masturbating too deep or too frequently? my friend says she was masturbating with her whole hand in the bath when she experienced lots of bleeding and a sharp pain. she was a virgin, so she wonders if it is possible to split your own hymen while masturbating? she thought this to be too embarrassing to discuss with her mom, so she asked me to post it here.

my friend and i would appreciate any input into this subject, thanx

Nicky and friend

It is quite possible to tear your hymen whilst masturbating.

Your hymen can tear while playing sports or using tampons even.
