The interior of the vulva (around the clitoris and vaginal opening, on the inner labia, in the vaginal canal) cannot actually grow hair. It's tissue, not skin, and there aren't follicles there, just like on your lips and in your mouth.

So, I'm unclear on what you're referring to or asking. Perhaps looking that a map of your anatomy so you have the right words might help?

Is what you're asking:

Is my shaving making the hair grow in a lot more (thicker, darker)?

It won't - it may appear thicker or darker, but this has to do with the ends of the hairs being blunted.

If you've been shaving for a REALLY long time - like, possibly since before puberty had kicked in all the way - then maybe you've just never seen your pubic hair all grown in.

It's perfectly normal to have hair on the labia majora (the outer lips) of your vulva and round your anus.

If you particularly want to get rid of it, safe methods are shaving or getting a professional to wax it (although they still pose the usual risks of any kind of hair removal - bumps, itchiness, ingrown hairs, etc.). Using depilatory cream on your vulva is a bad idea - harsh chemicals can do nasty things to sensitive tissues.

I sed to ahve the same dilema but here's what i did.

I just decided to take a little bit at a time. Instead of just mowing the whole lawn i would trim it every night until it started getting to a manageable mode where i could start shaving it. It took alot of patience but i probably escaped aot of agony by not trying to do it al at once. it was a little itchy during the time that i had it shortened but not off, so that waas a bit uncomfortable but it waas only like 3 days.

So, after you get it "manageable" you can start shaving it completely and deciding how far you want to go.
