Ok, I took my trip to the gyno. She looked at me down there and said, "Oh my what did you do??" She told me that I had infected sweat glands or infected cebacious cysts or something (the same thing she told me when I went to her before about my bumps). She asked if I wanted her to do this thing called "Silver Nitric" (I *think* that was what it was called)..where she "freezes", or "burns", the bumps so that they heal faster. Well, they still hurt so bad..so I looked down there today and they're not red anymore, they're all white. Ok, the thing I want to mention is..is it likely that my gyno is wrong about this?? I just have a weird feeling that she's not right about my bumps. Why hasn't *she* thought to test me for herpes? (Like I said, I know that there is no way I can have it, I just would think that the gyno would want to test me anyway).
------------------ "I do what my rice krispies tell me to do"
At this stage, I'd say that your gyno probably knows what she's talking about, but if you're really worried, why don't you go and ask her yourself to be tested for herpes? It'll put your mind to rest once and for all. Truly though, I'd imagine she's seen many cases or herpes before, and knows what it looks like. Maybe you could just phone her and ask her why she didn't test for herpes- she'll probably explain why, if you ask.
