i just wanted to know how (if you are stressed out) do you get your sex drive back. since i have been stressed out i have not wanted to have any kind of sexual relations except on days when i am not stressed. it is really bothering my husband and he thinks that i am not sttracted to him and that is definitely not the case. any suggestions?

When I was at university, I would go months with massive amounts of stress - tight deadlines, and lots of 18 hour days. My sex drive waned to almost zero, and I got extremely depressed.
Now, I'm randy as a rabbit! I just had to lose the pressure (graduate), and relax a bit. Take a weekend away or something, perhaps.
Talk to your husband - he'll probably understand if you don't feel like sex at the moment. He'll certainly understand it better than if you just roll over every night.

Koger, Again, these are issues that are related to the depression you've been suffering through for a while now. And again, that's what you're going to have to address, it isn't just going to go away on its own, and neither are its symptoms (like a decreased libido).
When you do finally get to a therapist, be sure and mention this.

depression will also depress one's libido, definitely.
but during exam season, my libido tanks. same with my guy, so that works out okay since midterms and finals pretty much lineup -- except for me, who has a constant onslaught of midter exams.
