Y'all, we really need everyone to stop asking -- often repeatedly, after we have already answered you -- about if they can become pregnant when they are dressed.

You can't: You Cannot Become Pregnant When You Have Pants On. You just can't.

As part of your registration agreement, too, you agree to look through our content and other posts before posting to be sure your question has not already been answered. And good gravy, have we answered this one already, so even having any posts, pretty much EVER, like this, is just not cool, because the answers are already in so, so many places here.

I assure you, no matter what the story is of your own conception and birth, it involved people with no pants on. Just like the earth is not flat, pregnancy just does not happen when people are dressed.

And that is how we are going to be answering these when they come up, especially when we answer you clearly and give you good links and information, but you still keep on us even after that.

Talking a lot about things that are not real just is not a sound use of anyone's time: not ours, but not yours, either. We need to focus our time and energy here on conversations that are grounded in fact and reality.

We also need all of you to do your own work around this stuff when it comes up, be that taking the time to read -- and accept -- answers and facts in articles, figuring out what you need to feel comfortable with any given sexual activity you are freaking about (and that means stepping away from that activity until you do, or if you don't, taking responsibility for choosing to do something you know you're not cool with and taking care of yourself). If you feel like you need to run somewhere and be talked off a ledge often after sexual activity, that is a HUGE clue that you are doing something that obviously isn't right for you right now, that you aren't ready for, or where you don't yet have something you need -- something we usually can't give you here -- in order to feel okay.

We are always glad, of course, to help you figure things like that out: to help you get to what IS real under irrational fears and to figure out what you can do for yourself to best manage those and your sexual life so you can feel good about it and have it be something you can manage on your own capably.

But we absolutely have to set and hold some very big limits when it comes to people asking for more and more facts about something where the facts is that it is not for real.

Thank you.
