Now, I noticed as I was searching for something, the search function still searches all the old forums that don't exist anymore. Why? The Men's Room and the Ladie's Room haven't existed for a long time. I was just a bit curious.

Greetings! That is done because while the forums may no longer exist, there are still some interesting topics in there that may answer a potential question. We certainly don't want to delete questions we have already answered, as there is always a chance that somebody will need that information.

So that is my understanding of why the search function works that way. I'm sure somebody who knows more than me will pipe up soon enough, but I thought I'd at least try and give a general explanation. Take care!

Yes, but when the forums were discontinued, weren't the old threads started up in different forums? At least that's what I remember.

As far as I can remember, some threads which were determined to still be active and ongoing were moved into different categories where they could be added to. Others which had been dormant for some time remained where they were in an archival function. Now I'm growing old and grey here and its possible that Alzheimers' is setting in already...but I'm fairly certain that is what happened. Hope that answers your question!

Okay. See, now that makes a bit more sense.
