I saw this pretty good article in a magazine about public virginity exams in African countries. I thought it was a pretty good article and I had never even heard of this before so it was interesting to read. Anywhoo, I really want to post it for the scarleteeners to read and I'm wondering could I legally do that if I give credits and such? If not I'll just summarize the basics of what's going on because I really wanted to see what the scarleteeners and sexperts think about this whole thing.

I'm glad you asked, Brittany -- reposting the article in full would be a copyright violation. However, you can list where you found it, summarize it, give the author's name, and all of that good stuff and still be within the boundaries of copyright law.
If you look, you may be able to find a copy of it online (see if the magazine has a website, for instance), in which case you could link out to it by posting the URL in a post here at Scarleteen. That would be okay too.
