I'm not sure if i'm bi or straight, or as of late, a lesbian. I guess i've always had small crushes on girls, and when I was younger friends and I would experiment. I always thought this was normal. I've generally liked and dated boys my whole life. But I've also always thought certain girls were attractive and would think of girls from time to time. This past year (2010), I've been thinking that i'm bi, but this past week or month, i've been thinking of nothing but girls?

I'm not sure how helpful this is, but I've decided that "I like what/who I like"
Which means, for me, that I mostly feel attraction, emotional and sexual, for women. I spent weeks confused after realizing this, because I still think guys are attractive, and went through a bit of confusion while trying to figure out what label I fit under. I finally gave up on trying to fit into a label, and just went with "ok, if I find myself having a crush on someone, or liking them more than just a passing thought of how good-looking they are, then I'll go with it."
Now, that being said, when I have to use a label to explain myself to other people, I say that I'm a lesbian, because I'm mostly attracted to women. That can change, though. Sexuality is very fluid...someone who is bi at one point might identify as gay, or vice versa, or someone who has identified as straight for most of their life can find themselves being attracted to the same sex later in life.
