Ok, I'm terribly confused...I think I may be bi, but then again I'm not sure. I dont really want to talk to my mom about it, because she will tell my dad and then Ill have to talk to him about it and i dont know how they'll react. I'm going back to school soon, and am thinking about talking to the counsoler. But I need help. What should I do?

Hi Rebecca [Smile]

I think it's really common and normal to feel confused sometimes and question your sexuality. What makes you think you might be bi? What worries you about this?

You know, you don't have to tell your parents straight away and it can be hard to know how they'll react. But also, you don't have to figure out things on your own, so the school counsellor sounds like a good starting point to talk to. If you have friends you think would be understanding, you could maybe share with them too.

Bit of reading might help too..

Talking to someone is a good idea - sometimes through just verbalising what you feel, you realise things that you wouldn't've otherwise.
I know how it feels to not really know where you're at - but take solace in the fact that you don't have to put a label on it, and if you do, you don't HAVE to wear that label for EVERYONE to see.

It won't be safe, it won't be quiet and it won't be calm. But I'll tell you what it will be; the trip of a lifetime!
