Well, I don't really see queer relationships and straight relationships. I see queer people and straight people; and relationships. It also depends on whether you're talking about queer in the traditional meaning, queer as in LGBT, or queer as in the über-politicized term...

Good question...but lordisa, I don't know how to answer it.
As someone who has been queer (and by this I mean attracted to and involved with people of a diverse array of sex and gender, and also as someone who tends to conduct her relationships in a way often outside heteronormative/gendernormative ideals and dynamics) for as long as I can remember being anything, even at times when I'm in relationship with someone of the opposite sex, it never feels right to call it a heterosexual relationship because I'm not, nor have I ever been, heterosexual (and they also may not be, and usually have not been, but even if they were, I'm still not).
In other words, as a queer person, if someone is in sexual/romantic relationship to me, they're not in a straight relationship.
