I've really never been good at saying "I'm Sorry" or "Thank You" but here goes;
Two years ago, [well - I suppose nearly three now] I joined these boards, really thinking I knew a lot about sex ed, very full of myself. I crashed a lot of topics and basically wrote off whatever was on my mind, without really thinking the posts through. I also didn't think too hard about how hard enough it was for Heather and the volunteers without me buggering somethings up.
I also procrastinate, having not posted on these boards for nearly a year and a half and bringing this up now . . .
But I'd like to become active once more on Scarleteen, and before that happens, I just wanted to apologize.
Thank you Heather and the volunteers at Scarleteen for making it the greatest and most informative site there is about sex-ed, GLBT relations and basically -life- in general. And I am sorry for acting like the end of a horse and not owning up to it sooner.
Best Wishes, ~ Tuxy

Tuxy, this is very appreciated, but so not needed.
Young people? Tend to have very strong, subjective opinions and will often have areas where seeing the shades of grey in things, rather than seeing them as only black or white, is a bit of a challenge. As well, because of the developmental phase teens are in, it can sometimes be hard for anyone to really see outside of themselves much.
Butcha know, when you work with this population, you get used to that and it really is not that big of a deal. I think of it like birth pains.
