and i would really like to donate to scarleteen, but i have no source of icome and my parents would figure out (and probably wouldn't approve of my having anything to do with nonconservative nonheterosexual anything).
does scarleteen have some sort of charity or tag day or postal address i can donate cash 2 cause i would really like to be able to give back to this awesome one-of-a-kind site to keep it running and im sure that if there was an alternative noncomputer way to donate more people would do it (it seems like u dont get enough donations by the look of the volunteer's signatures ).

I'll have to get back to you on this one, hermit, though it's much appreciated.
Pathetic as it sounds, donations and funds have been so bad this year, that even just paying for a P.O. Box hasn't been doable (and they're far more spendy here in seattle then they were in MN!).
So, we're in between post office boxes right now, but I hope we can have another one soon.

That sounds horrible! Just wondering if Scarleteen ever tries for grants to keep the site running and providing more services? If you guys have tried grants, which ones do you apply for and with what success rates? My friend's JOB is to find grants for her non-profit, and I think she'd be more than willing to help out to give me a few pointers, and perhaps I could look for a few for you.

Most grants require 501c3 status which we do not yet have.
But honestly, this is a very large discussion and particularly as we are in the midst of some administrative meetings on these matters, not really one for the boards or general users.
