Well, for as much as one person and a supporting staff can do it, I kicked the U.S. federal government's proverbial butt and did better than the best I could possibly due last week to protect our first amendment and our freedom of speech when it comes to sexuality, sexuality and art, and comprehensive sex education. We fully expect that we have won this case.
More news at nine.... two weeks from now.
Because while that Herculean task should be enough for any one person's year, let alone a few weeks, I still have ten more days or so in which to finish editing 600-some pages of book manuscript, and do all the supporting work, to make my deadline so I can also get my first book off the ground.
So, from now through the next two weeks, I will be hunkered down like no one's business (a fine thing to be at the start of a dark, wet Seattle winter, I might add) and cannot have any distractions if I'm going to pull this off.
Per usual, our volunteers are here for you. Per usual, I also ask a favor of you in asking that you do your level best to use this space appropriately as it's intended, to manage your own stuff as best you can, and to not make more work for everyone here running on empty than is really needed, okay?
Looking forward to having more than three funcntioning brain cells and being present to help y'all out again soon.
