I have a question. In your guidelines you outlaw anti-choice canvasing. Would pro-choice canvasing be acceptable?

yes, as long as you don't disrespect the viewpoints of the users who respecfully disagree with the site's pro-choice stance.

but y'know, that'd just be preaching to the choir, more or less around here. the site is overwhelmingly pro-choice.

Note that that's pro-choice.

If you started going round telling pregnant board users that they should have abortions or were obliged to have abortions, or that they'd be wicked to carry a pregnancy to term, that would be just as unacceptable as telling them that they shouldn't have abortions or would be wicked to have abortions.

It's about respecting other people's right to make their own choices - whether that's to have an abortion or not.
