I know that when you start out, you're a neophyte, then when you get 32 posts you become an activist, but what comes after activist? What comes after that? How many posts do you need for each of them? I was just wondering. Thanks

There are only two ranks of posts for regular users: Neophyte and Activist. So, after you become an activist, you stay one.

The ranks of advocate and sexpert are conferred by Ms. Scarlet if you become a volunteer.

Miz S observes your posts, and if you say really interesting, cool, and well-informed things, she might pick you if she needs some help. I've been here about 4 years, was on the boards a couple of months before I was picked to be an Advocate, did that for more than 2 years, then got bumped up to Sexpert (bear in mind, I'm 23 and I'm in public health, meaning not only am I here on ST, but I do a lot of this sort of stuff professionally).
