I think I started my period but Im not fer sure about it cause normally I start really heavy its been that way for years. But today when I saw the pinkish brown blood I was freaked out cause thats only happens when Im about to stop my period. Me and my boyfriend have a VERY active sex life and no we've been stupid and haven't used a condom and Im not on any other form of my birth control.. I need help with this subject badly.. [Eek!]

Well, our periods don't always look the same every single time. They can sometimes be lighter or heavier than what you are used to. So if you are due for your period and you are experiencing bleeding, it's very likely to be your period.

That said, if you do not wish to become pregnant, you'll need to talk to your partner and work out ways to be more consistent in using protection. Do you need any help with figuring out your options?

You two have also been exposed to STI risks, so if you haven't been tested recently, you'll want to get caught up on that.
