I live in a tiny little village where everyone knows each other and am kinda scared of buying a test in case the woman who works in the pharmacist tells my parents (they're friends). Just wondering if she is bound by confidentiality or if you can buy pregnancy tests other places (like supermarkets)? I'm over the age of consent and in the UK, so would that change any confidentiality things if there are any? Any advice would be good...

Pharmacist workers, when you're buying things over-the-counter, are not obligated to privacy agreements. Not in the states, anyway, and I'd guess it is the same in the UK.

How about getting a friend to go for you?

That was option two, but I thought it'd be better if I went, provided that wouldn't get me in trouble, but I'm sure one of them would. Thank you.

Of course. And you often CAN get pregnancy tests in supermarkets and the like, too.
