i was on the pill for close to 7 months, then stopped for a month because me and my boyfriend broke up, then started the pill again after that. i was on the pill again for about a week, then me and my new boyfriend had sex. ive been faithful with the pill, but me and my boyfriend have had sex about 8 times without a condom. he never came in me though, always pulled out. im pretty sure im not pregnant, but im wondering, is there a high risk that i could be?

If you've been taking the pill as directed, you would have full protection beginning on either the first or seventh day into the pack, depending on whether you've started the pill on the first day of your period, or on the Sunday (a "Sunday Start") after the first day of your period.

However, if you began the pill in the middle of your cycle, you may not have had protection.

So, the answer: it depends.

(Additionally, you have had a risk of STI transmission).

Hope this has answered your question!
